Accommodation:

VRBO.com - Vacation Rentals by Owner. The leading site where condo owners advertise their property for rental. You can sort by island, town, and by the complex the condo is located in.

Homeway.com Hawaii vacation rentals - another site for condos

Hawaiigaga.com - a good search engine that finds condos and other accommodation, wherever it is listed on the web

Wizardpub.com - provides an aerial photo, traveller reviews and brief details of practically all accommodations in Hawaii, sorted by island

Tripadvisor now has separate listings (with reviews) for 'vacation rentals' (i.e. condos) as well as hotels. Good advanced search features. Here is the main Hawaii vacation rentals page. From there you can drill down by city as well as by island
